Indeed. Simplifying can sometimes be overwhelming. My solution is to Do one thing at a time, and take small steps.

and I start to do Single-task, Instead of multi-tasking, that helps :)
I hear ya; but its more on the side of working with others. Trying to take a lot of brains and come up with a simple idea is sometimes fustrating.
